The Wizard is Coming!
Ten years ago today, I stepped through what I often think of as a rainbow portal.
At the time, I had no idea that a pilgrimage to the Isle of Iona in Scotland would become the beginning of a decade-long journey of learning, healing, friendship, and profound personal transformation. Looking back now, I can see how that first meeting with Andrew Steed—a Celtic Shamanic Practitioner, teacher of Celtic medicine, professional Bard, and dear friend from the British Isles—became one of the great catalysts in my life. If you missed that story, I invite you to read my earlier post, Full Circle Moments, where I share how a rainbow's end marked the beginning of this extraordinary chapter.
This year has been filled with those wonderful "full circle" moments. As Angela and I continue building Celestial Pathways, we have been asking ourselves an important question: How can we bring meaningful experiences to our own community? Experiences that invite people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, meet like-hearted souls, and perhaps discover a little more magic than they realized was possible.
Which brings me to some exciting news...
The Wizard is Coming!
Andrew Steed, Scotland, 2019
Andrew is affectionally known as “the Wizard” among many, and he certainly looks the part!
This September, Andrew Steed will be traveling to Spokane, and Angela and I are absolutely delighted to be hosting him for some workshops and special events. Andrew has a remarkable gift for making ancient wisdom approachable, meaningful, and surprisingly fun. As a Celtic Shamanic Practitioner and professional Bard, he weaves together stories, music, humor, and centuries-old wisdom in a way that is both inspiring and deeply transformative. His teachings invite people to connect more deeply—with the land, with their ancestors, with community, and ultimately with themselves.
For me, this feels like another rainbow coming full circle.
Over the past ten years, I have had the privilege of joining Andrew on multiple sacred pilgrimages throughout the British Isles, United States, Canada, and Jamaica. Each journey has offered its own teachings, unforgettable experiences, and opportunities for personal growth. Along the way, I completed his two-year Celtic Shamanic Practitioner training, followed by another two-year advanced program exploring deeper shamanic practices and ancestral work.

This summer, in anticipation of Andrew's visit to Spokane, I look forward to sharing some of these pilgrimage stories with you here on the blog. I'll be reflecting on the places we've explored, the lessons I've learned, and the many magical moments that have unfolded over the past decade. My hope is to offer you a glimpse into the heart of Celtic wisdom and perhaps inspire you to discover a little more magic within your own journey.
The journey that began on the shores of Scotland is now finding its way to the Inland Northwest, and I cannot think of a better place to continue building bridges between worlds, traditions, and people. There is something incredibly special about being able to share with our community someone who has had such a profound impact on my own life.

So, for now, consider this your official teaser.
Mark your calendars for September 2026 and stay tuned as we begin unveiling the workshops, gatherings, and magical adventures that await.
Over the coming weeks, I'll be sharing stories from ten years of pilgrimage, friendship, and discovery as we count down to Andrew's visit. I hope you'll join me on the journey. Sometimes the greatest adventures begin long before we ever set foot on the path.
With gratitude,
Jenna
